Leaky Gut Syndrome: The Microbiome – Herbs and Natural Remedies to the Rescue!

Many people find that they have difficulty with their digestive system. They feel tired after eating, feel bloated, suffer from irregularity, and just don’t feel right. Leaky gut syndrome may be the reason!
  • What is Leaky Gut Syndrome?
  • The Microbiome- how is it connected?
  • How can you find out if you have it?
  • Natural Remedies to the rescue!
There are multiple influences that promote the inflammatory process involved in GI disturbances ranging from irritable bowel distress to the more complex manifestations of Crohn’s disease. One well-documented causative factor is compromised intercellular junctions in the GI mucosa leading to intestinal permeability. In this presentation, we will discuss the mechanism of action that initiates and complicates inflammation when intercellular junctions are compromised, discuss diagnostic tests that can help identify this process, and present several evidence-based herbs and natural interventions that can be used to positively influence this condition.

You will receive the Call-in number for the class one day before class, along with links to PowerPoints and other learning tools that we will use as instructional materials during class. If you miss a class, you can make it up anytime before the end of the course, by calling into the recording of the class.

Tuition: $35.00

3 CEUs are available to Massage Therapists, Dietitians, Nurses & Midwives in the state of Florida through CE Broker for students who successfully complete the course through attendance and submission of assignments.
